WCJ offers the widest range of custom-coated and electroplated wires available in the USA. Different coating types and thicknesses serve different purposes; depending on the application. Our ElectroShield™ line of electroplated wires offers different levels of protection against corrosion, abrasion resistance, and aesthetic appeal. We provide a wide range of coated and plated wire options, including electroplated, galvanized, copper, tin, nickel, PET, and PVC, each available in a wide range of diameters, steel grades, and finishes to meet your specific mechanical and aesthetic needs.
Electroplated Wire (ElectroShield™)
Our unique line of electroplated wires are made using our state of the art and eco friendly Electroshield™ process. Depending on your preferred plating type, your wires will run through one of our 6 plating processes. Electroplating involves immersing the wires in into our in house formulated solution and applying an electrical current causing the metal ions to deposit evenly on the wire surface. Unlike hot-dipping, which often results in a thicker, uneven coating, electroplating provides exceptional control over thickness and consistency, ensuring superior adhesion and a smooth surface. Our steel wires can be plated with copper, zinc(galvanized), tin, and nickel.

Nickel Coated Wire (NiShield™, NiShield+™)

Zinc-Phosphated Wire
