WCJ Pilgrim Wire is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of on the job industrial maintenance experience, trouble shooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic controls and PLC systems.
  • Experience with variable speed and servo drive programming and function.
  • Possess a good understanding of computer and industrial networks.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow complex instructions, prints, flowcharts, block diagrams, and schematics.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to positively lead, cooperate and communicate with coworkers, contractors, and management.
  • Ability to consistently interact with others in a cooperative, respectful, and professional way.
  • Positive attitude with an ability to work within a team and have good verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work with power tools safely, work a flexible schedule, lift 60 pounds, and frequently kneel, bend, stoop, twist stretch and reach overhead.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, trouble shoot, plan, and perform all operations necessary to install, modify, repair, overhaul, rebuild, and dismantle various types of complex manufacturing and support equipment.
  • Train and advise, operators as directed in achieving company objectives.
  • Consistently, meets internal/external customer expectations through teamwork, respect, positive and effective communications and a willingness to help and support others.
  • Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting on control systems, servo drives, motors, and all related manufacturing and plant equipment including building and grounds.
  • Identify opportunities for maintenance or process improvements and drive approved recommendations to implementations or resolution.
  • Complete or assist with special projects as directed
  • Coordinate with equipment/service vendors for technical assistance.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and well-organized work areas.
  • Provide preventive maintenance support and other proactive activities to monitor and maintain equipment condition.
  • Comply with “Company” departmental and regulatory policies, procedures and standards, while maintaining acute awareness of all safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management.
  • Follow all “Company” policies and procedures.
